SHEETS
The exact size and
type of rope you use for your sheets is often a matter of long-standing
preference, or even deep personal conviction.
However, we confidently
offer the cordage that we have found to works best on the Squib,
bearing in mind that many people habitually use over-sized rope
which is many times over-strong for the task and loses heavily
in free-running ability , compromising the ease and sensitivity
with which you can trim your sails. Bigger ropes also weigh more,
costs more and soak up more water.
Our racing sheets are
all supplied finished and ready to use. Each is the length we
have found to give best all-round service on a racing Squib.
