Alan Johnson and guest crew Mark Thompson sailed a consistent
series in tough conditions to top a 39 boat fleet. Six good
races over two days were particularly memorable for the
mountainous seas on the Saturday. Gerard Dyson was a worthy
runner-up.
The Royal Dart Yacht Club's legendary hospitality was enjoyed
by visitors from as far afield as Anglesey and North Yorkshire.This
will be a worthy venue for the National Championships in
a few years' time.
Another fine Squib victory for Batt sails in 2009.
