Tony Thresher took the OK Dinghy inlands from a 30 boat fleet at the weekend. Four races were possible over the weekend and so all races had to count. Thresher's 2, 1, 2, 4 was consistently good enough to see off all challengers.

He was setting the new crosscut dacron BATT sail on his black-top Needlespar 3m mast. After the racing he reported "2053 was a flyer in Saturday's conditions. Looking forward to testing her in some breeze. Your all purpose, fit all masts sail worked a treat."
