BATT SAILS TAKE CHERUB NATIONALS AGAIN!!!
robin Russell is the new Cherub National Champion, gaining a convincing win at Weymouth with David Roe in runner-up .

Batt Cherub sails are the result of a long and very succesful relationship with the class. This ensures a positive and progressive approach to our sailmaking for the Class, and enables us to be fully in touch for all aspects of customer support.

A whole string of National Championships, plus many open meetings and open handicap events convincingly demonstrate Batt Sails' influence in the Cherub class.

Recent work has revolved around accomodating the new rig rules. The mainsail is cut as a vertical triradial, which copes well with almost any aspect ratio and roach configuration. A careful balance of luff curve and seam shaping gives a sail which is easy to set through a wide range of wind and water conditions. The crosscut Polykote Dacron jib has positive roach supported by three full width battens.
The 15m spinnaker is brilliant! This normally hoists close to the hounds. Alternative profiles are available for masthead or near-masthead hoist.
