2008 SQUIB UK CHAMPIONSHIPS
BATT SAILS Ist OVERALL!

Congratulations to Dave Best and Pete Richard on their fine performance in a testing week. They mastered a tough fleet and a tough series to take the 2008 UK title in real style.

Well done also to runners-up Owen Delaney and Mark Duffield while Chris and Mark Hogan fought a close battle for third place with Gerard Dyson and Tony Saltonstall.

Note that the top four boats were using Batt sails exclusively throughout the event.

Defending champions Mike and Penny Fenwick were 6th, again with a complete suit of Batt sails.

Our thanks also to many other Squib sailors for helping continue our proud record of success in this remarkable class....
